At around 9:00 p.m. on April 10, at Km52+400 on National Highway 8, through Son Tay commune, Huong Son district, Ha Tinh province, a woman was hit and killed by a car with license plate 38A-602.xx while crossing the road. The car was severely damaged in the front. Authorities were present to direct traffic and investigate the cause of the incident. ​

1.2. Two people died in a collision with a truck in Ho Chi Minh City

On the evening of April 10, in Linh Xuan ward, Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City, an accident occurred between a motorbike and a truck, causing two people on the motorbike to die on the spot. Ho Chi Minh City police are coordinating with relevant units to investigate the cause of the incident. ​

1.3. Young man dies after crashing into the back of a tractor-trailer in Binh Dinh

At 6:45 a.m. on April 11, at Km1214+900 on National Highway 1, through Phuoc Loc Commune, Tuy Phuoc District, Binh Dinh Province, a young man driving a motorbike crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer parked on the side of the road, killing him on the spot. ​

2.2. Binh Duong approves investment policy for Saigon Riverside Road Project

The People's Council of Binh Duong province has approved the investment policy for the Saigon Riverside Road construction project, from National Highway 13 to Vinh Phu 40 Street, with a total investment of about VND4,942 billion. The project is expected to be implemented from 2025 to 2030. ​

3.1. Ho Chi Minh City forecasts increased transportation demand during the April 30 and May 1 holidays

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Transport forecasts that during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, inter-provincial bus stations will serve an average of about 110,900 passengers per day, with 6,680 trips, an increase of 5% over the same period in 2024. The Department has issued about 600 vehicle badges to strengthen routes with high demand.​

4.1. Son La penalizes more than 4,500 cases of traffic safety violations in the first quarter of 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, Son La province penalized 4,531 cases of traffic safety violations. The whole province had 39 traffic accidents, killing 39 people and injuring 39 people; compared to the same period in 2024, there was a decrease of 10 cases (down 20.4%), however, the number of deaths increased by 5 people (up 14.7%). ​
