Crossing these two intersections along 70 (Van Dien), congestion is hard to avoid. In addition, due to the road into the urban area Linh Dam every day with dozens of trains running through often cause congestion.
According to the Director General of Vietnam Road Administration Nguyen Van Huyen, the Phap Van - Cau Gie expressway has been upgraded and expanded, is currently under construction phase 2 into 6 lanes of motor vehicles, expected in early 2018 will be included exploited. If not reformed quickly, the congestion will get worse.
Accordingly, it will continue to expand the road of the left and right crabs to increase vehicle traffic on the way out faster; better connection between Phap Van - Cau Gie with Highway 70 and Ring Road 3 because now the vehicles passing through Giai Phong Road on Highway 70 are very large.
In particular, it is necessary to build another intersection between National Highway 70 and Ring Road 3 and Phap Van - Cau Gie. coordinated with Hanoi to build the bridge over the railway at Phap Van to car through the 3rd ring on the 1st floor better.
According to the design plan submitted to the Ministry of Transport, the highway intersection with National Highway 70 and Ring Road 3 will be built with total estimated cost of more than 5,000 billion VND. The branch of the Phap Van expressway is 70 km long (including the overpass bridge) with 8 lanes (4 motor lanes and 4 mixed lanes). 1,750 billion. The section from the Phap Van expressway connects the ring road No.3 with a total investment of VND1,560 billion with a road surface of 50m and 8 lanes.
MOT is proposing to make 2.1km from the Phap Van expressway linking the ring road 3. The section from National Highway 70 connecting Phap Van expressway will deliver Bitexco in the form of BT (build-transfer). Along with that, the connecting road from the third ring road to Tan Mai (2.5 ring belt) will be added with estimated investment of over 1.700 billion VND, of which the site clearance cost is approximately 1.074 billion VND copper.
