To transport goods from Hanoi to Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong, heavy trucks are preferred to use. There are two transport options as follows:
- Option 1: shipping from Hanoi to HCMC, then separating goods to dispatch to provinces of the south.
- Option 2: trucks will unload commodities in three abovementioned provinces, then return to HCMC.
Transport 24h Co.Ltd will choose the option 1 for consolidated shipment in which goods will be shipped to warehouses and separated according to customers’ orders before being dispatched to the destinations. In contrast, if it is full shipment, we will choose the option 2.
Under option 1, drivers follow National Route 1A to go from Hanoi to HCMC, then Ba Ria- Vung Tau on the Highway 51. From there, you run along the Highway 55 or 55B to La Gi Town (Binh Thuan Province) and Bao Loc City (Lam Dong Province). Highway 55 starts in Ba Ria Town, runs though Binh Thuan and ens in Bao Loc Town (Lam Dong Province) with the total length of about 230 km. It runs through districts, namely Long Dien, Dat Do, Xuyen Moc (Ba Ria- Vung Tau Province), Ham Tan, La Gi Town, Tanh Linh, Ham Thuan Bac (Binh Thuan Province), Bao Lam and Bao Loc Town (Lam Dong Province).
Under option 2, the best route is to run from Hanoi to Lam Dong on Ho Chi Minh Road which joins Highway 14 in the Central Highlands. You then follow Highway 14- Highway 28- Highway 20 to reach Bao Loc Town (Lam Dong Province). From there, drivers go along the Highway 55 to transport goods to La Gi Town, Binh Thuan and Ba Ria- Vung Tau Town. When finishing all orders, trucks will return to HCMC and prepare to go back to Hanoi.

The sections of Highway 55 running through Ba Ria Vung Tau and Binh Thuan was upgraded and broadened to meet the high demand for traffic and transport. However, the traffic on Highway 55 is more complicated and difficult in Lam Dong Province. One thing to keep in mind is that you should refill your truck’s fuel tank before turning onto the bend to Lam Dong because there is no petrol station on the road. The 24 km section of Highway 55 running through Lam Dong Province is seriously deteriorating, causing difficulties to vehicles transporting goods to Ba Ria Vung Tau, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong Province. The upgrade is crucial to stimulate business exchanges and traffic progress in provinces of the Southwest region and Central Highlands./.
