Due to their heavy weight, 10 ton trucks are not allowed to go in the inner city of Hanoi so the only choice is to use 1.4 ton trucks to load goods to goods depots. At 2:30pm, a 10 ton truck went from Fish Tail Station (Hoang Mai District, Hanoi). It was expected to reach Vinh City (Nghe An Province) at 8:30 pm, thanks to the development in traffic infrastructure from Hanoi to Vinh, Nghe An. Depending on customers’ requirements and goods’ destinations, drivers can choose National Route 1A or Ho Chi Minh Road, two main routes leading to Vinh City. However, if starting from Fish Tail, you will be sure to go on National Route 1A. Despite the high quality of road surface, drivers may sometimes face the difficulties of high volumes of vehicles on the road, especially in rush hours. Besides, Route 1A also runs through many districts and towns, making your speed unstable.
Driver Hoang Cong Hieu said: “ Be careful when you drive on Route 1A. Remember to follow road signs of legal speed because there are certainly traffic police boxes to check drivers’ speed compliance on the road, You need to pay attention to the following areas: the end of Cau Gie- Ninh Binh Expressway (reducing your speed from 100 km/h to 80 km/h, then 60 km/h); Tam Diep Town (the section from the traffic light of Nho Quan to Thanh Hoa Province); Quang Xuong and Tinh Gia Towns (Thanh Hoa Province); Hoang Mai and Quang Hanh (Nghe An Province)”.
It is 280 km to transport goods from Hanoi to Vinh, Nghe An but if there is another destination of Cua Lo, drivers will follow Highway 46 to reach there. Highway 46 has two secondary routes, namely 46A and 46B, both of which are main traffic roads in Nghe An Province. Highway 46A starts at Cua Lo Commune and ends at the intersection of Highway 15 in Do Luong Town. From Cua Lo Port, Highway 46A runs from north-west to south-east through districts of Nghi Loc, Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan and Thanh Chuong. Highway 46B starts at the intersection of Highway 46A (near Ro Bridge) and also ends in Do Luong Town. Thanks to the use of Highway 46B, the number of vehicles running through Vinh City has decreased considerably. In addition, it is also considered a highly important route for the development of the west- east economic corridor, supporting goods transportation from Thanh Thuy Border Gate to Cua Lo Port. Besides, Highway 46B also helps to reduce the travelling time from Cua Lo Beach and Vinh City to President Ho Chi Minh’s hometown and Kim Lien Historical Vestige.
If you have been to Nghe An Province, you would realize that Nghe An has developed quickly to become a young and dynamic province with the progress in economy and people’s living standard.
