Vantai24h - Date 28/03/2016 -The highways of 38 and 38B are two main routes connecting business activities among provinces and cities of the Red River Delta. Highway 38 runs through 4 provinces, namely Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Ha Nam with the total length of nearly 90 km. It starts at the intersection of Ninh Xa (Bac Ninh Province) with Route 1A. Running from the north to the south, Highway 38 goes through Tien Du- Cau Ho, Ho Town (Thuan Thanh), Bac Ninh Province. In Hai Duong Province, it runs though following districts: Cam Giang, Ke Sat, Binh Giang, An Thi, Luong Bang, Kim Dong, Hoa Mac, Dong Van and Hung Yen City. Highway 38 ends at Luu Hoang Intersection, which is also the final destination for dispatching goods from Hanoi To Bac Ninh, Hung Yen, Hai Duong and Ha Nam.
After goods delivery in Ha Nam, driver Vu Van Tan continued shipping goods to the second and third destinations of Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh. He decided to choose Highway 38 B to go. From Kim Bang, he ran to Hoa Mac, then turned into the old provincial road 492 to get to Ly Nhan District. Next, he reached Vinh Tru and Nam Dinh Province. Tan delivered goods for the customer at Tran Hung Dao Street, Nam Dinh City. After that, he ran toward Vu Ban and Y Yen Districts. The length of Highway 38B in Nam Dinh is about 40 km. Leaving Nam Dinh, he got to Ninh Binh Province in which Tan went through districts of Hoa Lu, Gia Vian and Nho Quan. Then, he unloaded goods at the intersection of Anh Troi, Quynh Luu Commune, Nho Quan District. The total length of Highway 38B in Ninh Binh Province is about 30km.
To develop the national traffic system and stimulate the exchange activities of economy, trade, culture in the Red Delta River, Highway 38 and 38B have been upgraded and renovated for the last few years. In Hai Duong Province, there have been two newly built bridges named Cong Neo and Trang Thua, which partly solving the heavy congestion on Highway 38. Since the bridges have been put into use, trucks with the weight of 10 to 13 tons can run smoothly on Highway 38B.
Highway 38 and 38B not only link provinces and cities of the Red River Delta but also connect the comprehensive system of the northern main routes such as Highway 5, Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway, Highway 39 and so forth. Moreover, they also support the activities of industrial manufature and tourism in the area, contributing to the improvement in goods transportation of logistics firms in general and Transport 24h Co.Ltd in particular.
