The longest transport journey Transport 24h Co.Ltd has ever made for Hong Van Co.Ltd lasted for 7 days and ran through 7 provinces of the north. They were Thai Binh, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Bac Giang, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai and Son la, all of which are located on Highway 37.Goods were loaded onto trucks in Hanoi and shipped to the abovementioned provinces where the event was hold. The destinations included Thai Thuy (Thai Binh), Chi Linh (Hai Duong), Luc Nam, Lang Giang, Viet Yen, Hiep Hoa (Bac Giang), Phu Binh, Thai Nguyen City, Dai Tu (Thai Nguyen), Son Duong, Yen Son (Tuyen Quang), Yen Binh, Yen Bai City, Tran Yen, Van Chan (Yen Bai). The final destination was in Mai Son (Son La). The total length of the journey was about 600 km.
Highway 37 runs around Hanoi Capital and provinces of northern delta. It intersects or coincides with other highways such as National Route 1A (at Kep, Lang Giang); Highway 1B (at Hang Pagoda, Dong Hy); Highway 3 (at Thai Nguyen City); Highway 10 (at Vinh Bao); Highway 18 (at Sao Do, Chi Linh); Highway 31 (at Doi Ngo, Luc Nam); Highway 32 (at Van Chan); Highway 32B and Highway 43 (at Phu Yen), Highway 70 and so forth.

Thanks to this journey, I realized that local people living along this route, especially ethic communities, have still lived in conditions of poverty”.
With the length of nearly 500 km, Highway 37 is the main traffic route in the north, so for the last few years, many sections of Highway 37 have been upgraded and broadened to meet the increasing demand for travel and transportation in the area. In 2015, the project of renovating the section running through Thai Binh Province and Song Hoa Bridge was started. After the upgrade, the road will have the standard of level III with the average speed of 80 km/h, contributing to the development of the economy and business exchanges between Thai Binh and Hai Phong Provinces.
In 2016, the Ministry of Traffic and Transportation will upgrade the section connecting Hanoi – Lang Son Expressway and Hanoi – Thai Nguyen. The project will be implemented in Viet Yen, Hiep Hoa Districts (Bac Giang) and Pho Yen District (Thai Nguyen) with the total length of about 35 km. Highway 37 will serve as a traffic bridge in the north, connecting expressway routes running from Hanoi to northern provinces and cities./.
