Vantai24h – Date 02/15/2016 – Hoang Cong Hieu, who transported the first shipment of new year on February 12, 2016 expressed his happiness and quickly embarked on shipping goods from Hanoi to three destinations of Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and Quang Ninh.
Hieu chose National Route 18 for goods transportation from Hanoi to Bac Ninh, Hai Duong and Quang Ninh. On the fifth day of Lunar New Year, at 6am Hieu was in Thach Loi, Thanh Xuan Commune, Soc Son District, Ha Noi to receive goods. After signing the Receipt for Goods, Hieu drove along Route 18 to reach the first destination of Bac Ninh City. The section of Noi Bai to Bac Ninh City is called Noi Bai- Bac Ninh Expressway with the length of 31 km and 4 lanes. Route 18 starts at the intersection of Highway 2 and Bac Thang Long- Noi Bai Expressway and runs through Soc Son District until it gets Ca Lo Bridge. It intersects with Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway and runs straight to Bac Ninh City – the gateway to the northeastern Hanoi. Bac Ninh Province is one of the parts of the central economic zone of Hanoi- Hai Phong – Quang Ninh. The three provinces together form the triangle of development. Bac Ninh Province has major traffic routes connecting the province with the north’s other economical, commercial and cultural centers. They are National Route 1A linking Hanoi – Bac Ninh – Lang Son, Route 18 connecting Noi Bai International Airport – Bac Ninh – Ha Long, Highway 38 linking Bac Ninh – Hai Duong – Hai Phong and so forth. This is favorable condition for the province to develop economy, culture, society and exchange with other areas.
After unloading goods at Tran Hung Dao Street, Bac Ninh City, Hieu followed Route 18 to Sao Do, Chi Linh (Hai Duong Province). Bac Ninh is about 35 km away from Hai Duong and it takes nearly 45 minutes to travel. However, from Bac Ninh to Chi Minh Commune, Chi Linh Town, Hai Duong Province, due to poor road conditions and the dearth of barriers separating two lanes, drivers need to keep the speed limit and observe carefully. On the way to the center of Sao Do District, there are barriers between two road lanes. The speed limit is 50 km/h in residential areas but since March 1, 2016 the limit will be raised to 60 km/h.
After unloading goods at Chi Linh, Hai Duong, it was already 9.30 am. Hieu continued to reach the final destination of Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province. The section from Chi Linh to the intersection of Road 10 (Uong Bi City) to Ha Tu (Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province) is about 77 km long. It is 146 km from Mong Cai City to Ha Long City. The quality of roads connecting Uong Bi and Ha Long City are very goods with broad and beautiful lanes. From Cam Pha to Mong Cai, the road is narrower, especially the section of Tien Yen to Mong Cai which is quite narrow and has many high slopes. Therefore, drivers need to equip themselves with necessary experience and driving skills to ensure the traffic safety.
