Vantai24h – Date 01/18/2016 – Logistic activities between the Central Highlands and other areas are mainly carried on the roads. Therefore, National Route 14 and its secondary roads including 14B, 14C, 14D, 14E and 14G are very important.
Highway 14B is the national traffic route linking Tien Sa Port and Da Nang City with western Quang Nam and Central Highlands. The highway runs through the center of Da Nang City, then Hoa Vang District and Ai Nghia Town (Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province). Since 2006, if drivers want to get to Hoi Khanh from Ha Nha, they can use Ha Nha Bridge to pass Vu Gia River instead of Hoi Khanh Bridge. The road section of Highway 14B from Phu My Town to Ai Nghia Town (Dai Loc District, Quang Nam Province) has been degraded. The existence of potholes causes difficulties and risk to traffic participants. Local residents have required authorities to improve the road’s quality so hopefully, in the future the road will be renovated to create favorable conditions for local citizens and drivers. In addition, the section from Tuy Loan (Da Nang) to Ha Nha Bridge (Quang Nam) will be upgraded from 2 to 4 lanes. This is very necessary in the context of economic integration to stimulate business exchange between Quang Nam and Da Nang Provinces.
