Vantai24h – Date 12/16/2015 – The new highway 3 shortens the driving time so it now only takes more than one hour to ship goods from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen. From Thai Nguyen, drivers continue following the old highway 3 to reach Bac Can and Cao Bang.

The new high way which also has another name of Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Highway was under construction from 2009 and put into use in 2014 with the total length of over 64 kilometers. There are 3 lanes for vehicles and 2 lanes for emergency situations. Hanoi- Thai Nguyen Highway runs across 3 provinces including Hanoi, Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen. It only takes 1 hour and 20 minutes to transport goods from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen with the average speed of 100 km/h. Reducing delivery time means that orders’ quality also rise significantly, bringing benefits not only for provinces’ local economies but also for logistics firms. This plays a crucial role in stimulating the economic progress of the Viet Bac area.

From the inner city of Hanoi, to ship goods to Thai Nguyen, drivers usually choose the route starting from Thanh Tri Bridge. From this bridge, drivers reach Phu Dong Bridge and go 5 km further to arrive in Ninh Hiep Industrial Zone, then turn left into new Highway 3 or Hanoi –Thai Nguyen Highway. After going for 50 km, it is intersection with old Highway 3 leading to Thai Nguyen City.  If drivers load goods near Thang Long Bridge, they will choose old highway 3 but the driving time is more than 2 hours.

Driver Vu Duc Thuan shares the route from Hanoi to Bac Can and Cao Bang he usually go with his colleagues. It is Thanh Tri Bridge- Phu Dong Bridge – Ninh Hiep – new highway 3 – Dan Crossing Bridge. Thuan says: “getting to Dan Crossing Bridge means that you reach Thai Nguyen”. From there, follow the highway- Son Cam Intersection – old highway 3 – Bac Kan – Cao Bang. He also notes: “some roads only allow the maximum speed of 50 km/h. They are Giang Tien, Du, Cho Moi, Bac Can, Phu Thong, Na Phac. Drivers should pay attention to the speed to be able to cope with unexpected situations”.

Truong Manh Hung is one of drivers of Transport 24h Co.Ltd but often works at the areas of Pham Hung and Cau Giay Street. If the delivery places are in Bac Can, Cao Bang, he will choose the following route: Thang Long Bridge- turn right at the tollbooth- Highway 18- new highway 3 crossing bridge Bac Ninh – new highway 3. From there, he will run the same route as Thuan does.

All drivers have the same opinion that Hanoi- Thai Nguyen Highway is the best choice for transporting goods from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen, Bac Can, Cao Bang. Modern and smooth roads not only save time but also ensure the safety, resulting in huge benefits in business activities.
