Vantai24h – Date 12/11/2015 – The national highway 1A has many secondary roads with the longest one 1A connecting the North and the South of the country. This is also the main route leading to other secondary roads. According to the transport demands of customers, drivers will choose congenial routes such as 1B, 1C and 1K.
The total length of national highway 1B is 135 kilometers linking Gia Bay Bridge in Thai Nguyen Province and Dong Dang Town in Lang Son Province. The national highway 1B goes through these following areas of Thai Nguyen Province: Thai Nguyen, Dong Hy, Vo Nhai and districts of Lang Son Province: Bac Son, Binh Gia, Van Quan, Cao Loc.
The national highway is 17.3 kilometers long running from the west to the east. The starting point of this highway is in Vinh Luong District, Nha Trang City and the ending point is Ba Thanh intersection in Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Proince. This route was a part of the national highway 1A going through the city center of Nha Trang before the new highway 1A was built in the outskirts.
The total length of national highway 1D is over 30 kilometers linking Song Cau Town (Phu Yen Province) and Quy Nhon City (Binh Dinh Province). The highway’s road from Long Van intersection to the intercity coach station of Quy Nhon City is today upgraded and expanded. Along with the rapid development of the nation and Binh Dinh Province, the number of vehicles going through the province is on the increase. Therefore, the national investment in the upgrade and expansion of Highway 1D is very necessary to meet the transport demand and stimulate the economic and cultural progress of Binh Dinh Province.
The national highway 1K is one of the main roads linking Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and Dong Nai. With the total length of 25 kilometers, from Tan Son Nhat Airport (Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City) or old Binh Loi Bridge (near Binh Thanh and Thu Duc District), it goes through the highway 1A and leads straight to Di An Town, Binh Duong Province and reaches the ending point of the intersection Ho Nai (Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province). The last road is also a part of Nguyen Ai Quoc Road in Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province.
With the aim to reduce the traffic pressure of Bien Hoa City and the eastern gate of Ho Chi Minh City, the government made the official decision to build An Hao Bridge and the route connecting Highway 1k with Highway 1 and 51 (in Dong Nai Province). An Hao Bridge will be build over Dong Nai River and link Hiep Hoa Isle (Pho Isle) with the eastern area of Bien Hoa. Besides, the road between Pho Isle and the highway 1K will be constructed in the future and scheduled for completion in 2016. The construction of two important traffic infrastructures will create convenient conditions for the closer connection about transport and economy between Dong Nai, Binh Duong Province and Ho Chi Minh City.
