Vantai24h – Date 11/03/2015 – Transport 24h Co.Ltd rents a range of trucks over 5 tons to meet customers’ demand for goods transport from Hanoi to Tuy Hoa City and Phu Yen Province. It usually takes 2 to 3 days for trucks following this route to complete a two-way journey.
Having returned from Phu Yen last night, after an one - night rest, Nguyen Tien Thu drove his truck to the company’s headquarter to confirm the total distance of transport from Hanoi to Tuy Hoa. The two-way journey lasted 4 days and the total kilometers from the loading point to the delivery point is almost 1200. Thu told us: “ Generally, the average time for shipping goods from Hanoi to Tuy Hoa is 2 days. If there are 2 drivers in the cabin, we can deliver goods in the second day morning but with this journey, I had to drive on my own so my truck got to Phu Yen Province later than usual. I only finished delivering goods to customer in the afternoon”.
On the first day, he started from Hanoi at 4am and after driving along the highway of Phap Van – Cau Gie – Ninh Binh, he got to Ninh Binh at 6am. The truck continued its journey to Vinh City (in Nghe An Province). After having lunch at Huong Son, the truck departed to Ngang Pass located in Quang Binh Province and reached Dong Ha in the late afternoon. Arriving in Dong Ha, driver joined Highway 1 and went straight to Hue City. The remaining distance was just 70 kilometers. After an one and a half hour drive, Thu reached Hue City and rested there for one night before continuing his journey next morning. The customer accompanying Thu was Duong- the transport manager of Truong Son Company which is one of long-time business partners of Transport 24h Co.Ltd. Duong, a middle-aged man with a good sense of humour has never been to Hue City before so in this journey, Thu was not only a driver but also a tour guide introducing Duong to Hue’s famous tourist attractions.
On the second day, the truck set off from Hue at 6am. Its routes passed through Da Nang – Hoi An – Sa Huynh (Quang Ngai) – Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh) – Tuy Hoa (Phu Yen). The transport distance from Hue to Da Nang was about 100 kilometers. At almost 9 am, they arrived in Hoi An and took a short break of 15 minutes. It was about 180 kilometers between Hoi An and Sa Huynh (Quang Ngai) so Thu and Duong decided to have lunch at Quang Ngai. To reach Quy Nhon (Binh Dinh), they would go through Cham Tower with orchards laden with grapes. Ninh Thuan’s grapes were very famous but not everyone knew about that. From Quy Nhon, they had to drive another 100 kilometers to reach Tuy Hoa, Phu Yen for delivery.
After completing half of the transport route, Thu and Duong rewarded themselves with a dinner full of seafood. The truck would continue loading goods and return to Hanoi next morning to finish a long distance journey with excitement and safety.
