Vantai24h – Ngày 13/10/2015 – The transport service to An Giang specializes in delivering and receiving goods in the two-way transport process between Hanoi and An Giang. Goods are organized, stored and shipped with full packaging and legal volumes according to the government’s transport regulations.
As of December 1st 2015, the new regulations of weight and size limits of road transportation which is stated in Circular 46/2015/TT-BGTVT will officially start to take effect.
Driving oversized, overload vehicles on the road must ensure the safety for traffic and road construction. Companies, organizations and individuals who are owners’ vehicles, carriers, transport customers or drivers can control oversized, overload vehicles on the road only when they have legal certifications provided by the competent authorities.
According to the Circular 46/2015 of the Department of Traffic and Transportation, overload vehicles are modes of transport on the road with the total weight exceeding the exploited load limit for road transport. Road weight is the ability of sustaining the exploited weight of bridges and roads to ensure the longevity for designed constructions.
Over-sized vehicles are modes of road transport with outside dimensions including goods on cars, which exceed the regulated size limit when joining the road traffic. Details are listed as followed:
a. The length is more than 20 meters or 1.1 times as much as the total length of the vehicle;
b. The width is more than 2.5 meters;
c. The height from the road surface is more than 4.2 meters (except for containers).
Full-size loads must comply with regulations of size as followed:
a. The length is over 20 meters;
b. The width is over 2.5 meters;
c. The height from the highest point of the road surface is over 4.2 meters and over 4.35 meters for containers.
When driving trucks with full- sized load on the road, drivers must be compliant with government’s regulations. Transporting goods with legal limits of weight and size will contribute to the traffic safety, protect infrastructures and create fairly competitive environment for logistics companies.
