Vantai24h – Date 09/05/2015 - The construction and development of highways has created advantageous conditions for goods shipment from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. The business activities of logistics companies in general and Transport 24h Co. Ltd in particular are stimulated highly with the considerable rise in the number of shipments, which brings great benefits to the companies.
Taking order from the board of directors, I contacted driver Trieu Duy Hung and had a chance to accompany him in the transport journey from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. My duty was taking photos to illustrate for articles on the company website. At 8 am, the truck picked up goods at 88 Au Co Street, Tay Ho District, Hanoi. This is a familiar address with the company’s drivers, especially who drive truck of 1.25 to 1.4 tons. It is also the location of the Company of Equipment for Measurements and Testing, one of close customers of Transport 24h Co.Ltd over the last four years. With frequent and stable load of goods, the corporation between two companies has been consolidated highly, bringing values and benefits to both companies.
At 9 am, goods were organized neatly in the truck back. After the completion of checking goods volume, Tung turned on the engine of the truck. From Au Co Street, the truck would follow the route through the streets: Au Co – Nghi Tam – Yen Phu- Tran Nhat Duat- Tran Quang Khai – Nguyen Khoai – Thanh Tri Bridge – Phap Van Highway – Gie Bridge- Ninh Binh. Therefore, the transport journey from Hanoi to Ninh Binh would take about more than 2 hours to complete, which means that we would reach Ninh Binh at 11 am. We would have lunch in Ninh Binh and after unloading goods out of the truck, we would return to Hanoi at about 3 pm. If everything goes as scheduled smoothly, a truck can complete two journeys per day on average.
At the end of June, the highway of Phap Van – Cai Gie was upgraded and opened official for traffic. The road from Hanoi to Ninh Binh is now safer and more time-saving than before. From Thanh Tri Bridge, Tung followed the Ring Road 3. He shared his driving experience on this highway to me. He said: “If you drive through this road, the first thing to remember is to turn on the headlights and follow the right lane. Adhering to the traffic rule will help yourself to save much time, which is considered as gold today”. Shortly after finishing his sentence, through the rear view mirror, I saw a truck behind us which was ordered to stop by the traffic police. Recalling the words Tung had said, I realized that truck did not turn on the headlights and this might be the reason why its driver broke the rule.
The highway Phap Van- Cau Gie was just upgraded so the quality of road surface became much better. I still remembered that a few years ago, there used to be many trenches causing danger to many drivers on the road surface. Sometimes it was very smooth for drivers to drive but suddenly they had to decrease the speed due to grooves and trenched along the road. When the road underwent its upgrade, the space for vehicles was so small that they had to move slowly and sometimes congestions happened, making drivers anxious. Today, those difficulties belong to the past. In front of my eyes, there is a straight, paved and clear highway with white-painted lines and green trees planted along both sides of the road. In that moment, I realized that our country are developing and changing rapidly. If not seeing large and modern roads with your own eyes, you will become outdated in the country’s process of development.
