Vantai24h – Date 08/22/2015 – Having finished two- way transport route between Hanoi and Bac Ninh to serve one of longtime customers of Transport 24h Co.Ltd at the High Technology Center of Viettel, driver Nguyen Hoai Nam was carefully checking the truck’s windshield.

         Driver Nam told us that on the way to Bac Ninh, there was a rock chick from the front truck of 10 tons suddenly shot to his car’s windshield. Luckily, the impact force was not strong so it was quite difficult to notice the flaw on the windshield. He continued his work to catch up with the expected schedule. When he got home then, he had to check carefully if there were any damages to the windshield. He said: “If there is something wrong, I must have a mechanic repair it in time. For the long term, it may be more difficult to fix it or in the worst situation, I must change the windshield. It would cost quite a lot.”

Windshield is the first line of defense against all wind bringing against you.  It basically plays two major roles by its function. Firstly, it protects the driver and passengers from different extreme weather conditions and insects. Secondly, it provides additional stability to the body frame of your car. Therefore, it is extremely important to take good care of your car’s windshield. One must ensure not to use any harsh cleaners on the windshield. Also, one must thoroughly inspect the window shield while cleaning for any sort of visible cracks. The situation of driver Nam is an example. Also one must check for any damages on the windshield wipers. Since wipers mover over the windshield, damage to the wiper may lead to unnecessary scratches to emerge on the glass.

Divers can cope with small scratches by using windshield cleaners. Wash the windshield with water before adding the cleaning solution. Use a soft brush to scrub water horizontally or vertically. There is no need to scrub too hard because you are only doing an initial wash to loosen the grime up.

Windshield is an important component of cars because all drivers’ visibility levels depend on it so that they can complete safe journeys. The protection for windshield is as much important as it does for drivers’ eyes. Therefore, this process needs to be made frequently in a careful and right way to maintain the good structure for cars and ensure the safety for drivers and passengers joining transport route between Hanoi and Bac Ninh and from Hanoi to other provinces and cities around the country./.
