Vantai24h – 07/21/2015 - Transport network linking two northern big cities Hanoi and Hai Phong has been made significant progress. Therefore, many types of trucks from 1.25 tons to 1.4 tons, which are used for transporting goods from Hanoi to Hai Phong are on the increase.
To stimulate the economic development of northern key cities, highway between Hanoi to Hai Phong was constructed so the time for cargo transportation is also reduced to 1 hour and a half. On average, it takes 3 to 4 hours to ship commodity from Hanoi to Hai Phong for two-way trips. Transport 24h Co. owns 10 trucks of 1.25 tons to 1.4 tons used particularly for this route to meet the high demand for cargo transport from the capital city to the north’s biggest industrial zone and port.

Do Quoc Truong, a skillful driver of Transport 24h shared with me the story of how he found his soul-mate on a transport trip to Hai Phong. He told me: “ I was assigned to transport cargo from Hanoi to Hai Phong from last night, so at 7 am next morning sharp I must arrive at the factory. No sooner had the wheel rolled than my mom called me. She shopped for food and forgot bringing the door key, so she must stay outside. There are only my mom and me at home, so I must return to give her my key. Therefore, I went to the factory 10 minutes late but unfortunately, I was stuck in the middle of the road due to the traffic jam. It was very difficult for me to get out of the congestion. When I got to the factory, I called the customer for permission to load cargo onto the truck. Listening to her voice, I guessed she was a little bit angry because I was 20 minutes late. I did not dare to say my reasons and just show her my apology and hoped for her understanding. Due to the lateness, we had to try our best to ensure the loading was on time. At 8 am, we started leaving Hanoi to Hai Phong and the girl also accompanied me as she had to do the paperwork for goods exported from Hai Phong.
After around 1 hour driving, the first sentence she asked me was:
It usually takes 1 hours and a half to go from Hanoi to Hai Phong, how about today?
We can not make it in one hour and a half but there is a possibility to get there in 90 minutes!- I smiled and replied.
I find all drivers of Transport 24h Co. very humorous.
That’s right. All staff of our company are very young and funny except me.
